Epson T-001 Photo Cartridge Refilling Instructions for Epson Photo 1200 printers.
Photo Color Cartridge
1. Place a piece of adhesive tape over each outlet hole located on the bottom of the cartridge. Use a separate piece of tape for each outlet hole.
2. Attach the filling needle to the syringe and fill with the proper color of ink.
3. Using the needle, puncture a filling hole into the label of the color that you are refilling and push as far down as possible. Inject the ink slowly into the chamber so that it soaks the sponge and fills the chamber. (The sponge will fill with ink and also refill the reservoir).
4. Put a piece of tape over the holes that were punctured on the label. Note: The cartridge will leak if the holes are not sealed properly.
5. Any unused ink can be return to the correct bottle. Rinse the syringe and needle with water between each color refilling and dry for further use.
6. Leave the adhesive tape on the outlet hole(s) and reinsert the cartridge then run 1 - 3 cleaning cycles as per printer instructions. It may be necessary to leave cartridge in printer for up to 24 hours. (This will allow the ink time to flow to the print head).
NOTE: If cartridge is refilled before it is completely empty this time is greatly reduced.
